Last Word from Dan Buss
Joe D., St. Louis, MO.

You may know that our brother in Christ, Dan Buss (age 42), went to be with the Lord in February, 2007. I wanted to share something with you I found very encouraging. Although these may not technically be his last words, here is what was read at his burial site last Saturday, as family and friends gathered around:

Rejoice in the Lord,

My death was swallowed up in victory...
now face to face with our Heavenly Father.

I am in awe of this victory over sin and death
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

In Christ, you and I are still together.

Call me by my old familiar name
(Dan or Danny).

Refer to me in a relaxed atmosphere
of God's peace.

Continue enjoying God's gift of life.
I'm still celebrating.

Life in Christ is eternal.
Therefore, all who are in Christ remain connected
because eternity has no intervals.

In view of this wonderful victory in Jesus,
hang in there, keep on serving Him.

Take my word for it,
"Nothing we do for Christ is a waste of time."

Great is His faithfulness!

To God be the glory!

With Love,

Dan
