Reality and Fantasy: Brent Writes to Danny Edwards

November 19, 2002

Danny:

Reality:

I have been excommunicated for telling the truth. I am not hiding, but am in the light, which is why I give out my name and number. (If I didn't do this, you would probably accuse me of a cowardly attack.)

David is delusional, and has not repented, let alone confessed, yet he is partaking and preaching. No matter what might be happening in private meetings, the fact is that this is going on in public.

This is what can be seen, It is the visible fruit. My family was deeply hurt and offended by the ministry, yet you won't listen to me when I "tell you your fault." (You won't listen to 2 or 3 either.)

Conclusion:

I will continue to tell the church.

Fantasy:

According to what you said, all kinds of great things are happening behind the scenes, which neither I nor the others who have been offended get to know about. If we did, then we would supposedly see our error.

Reality:

We, the offended, should of all people know what you are doing to rectify the situation but you won't tell us what is happening, even when we ask to speak with you.

Conclusion:

You operate in secret, while I operate in broad daylight. Everyone knows what I am saying, but no oneknows of the things that go on in your brothers' meetings. John 3:20-21, "For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God."

I spoke to Kirk, and he was very clear that not only did you tell him about our confidential meeting, but you also told him of the content! Is he lying?

RE: "Only God can fix it." Quite right, and He is. Look for some big changes in the near future.

I will not trouble you with further communication, but I will happily respond should you decide to contact me.

Brent

P.S. I like your definition of confidentiality, do you mind if I apply it?
